Our single wall paper cups are our most affordable option for hot cups. The cups are built with a single layer of paperboard lined with a thin PE lining. Single wall cups do need to be paired with coffee sleeves to prevent customers and employees from potentially burning their hands.
Double wall paper cups feature two walls of paperboard for increased insulation and a thin PE lining. The cups will not only keep drinks warmer for longer, but they can also be used safely without a coffee sleeve.
Like our double wall cups, our custom ripple cups are produced with two layers of paperboard. The difference between our standard double wall cups and our ripple cups is the exterior surface. The outer layer of our ripple cups are manufactured with wavy ripples. We offer vertical, horizontal, and S-shaped patterns for ripples. The ripples not only provide visual interest, but also provide a cup surface that is easier to grip.
If maintaining a sustainable brand is one of your priorities, then our custom compostable cups may be the best option for your business. Our compostable cups are produced with a biodegradable PLA plastic that will naturally break down over time. Like our single wall cups, these cups will need to be paired with a coffee sleeve when used for packaging hot beverages.

With the exception of our compostable cups, the rest of our hot cup options can be recycled. However, our paper cup options may not be accepted by your local recycling center. Separating the PE lining from the paperboard for recycling takes specialized equipment that not every recycling facility has. You’ll need to contact your local recycling center to see if they accept paper cups with a PE lining.
Disposable Design can ship cups to restaurants, coffee shops, tea shops, cafés, bars, and bakeries around the world. You can order directly from the website for domestic shipping within the US. If you’d like to place an order outside of the US, we ask that you fill out our quote request form to request a quote.
The lead time for production varies depending on the product. Our 8, 12, 16, and 20-ounce double wall cups can be produced in 4-5 weeks. All of our other hot cup options take approximately 8-12 weeks to produce. We do offer rush shipping at an additional charge if you need cups faster. We can provide a more accurate lead time for your order when you contact us for a quote.
