Plastic stadium cups are a popular option for to-go drink containers because they are versatile, reusable, and affordable. Our custom plastic stadium cups are produced with a thick and durable PP plastic. These cups are safe to reuse and won’t warp or melt in the dishwasher. If you wash the stadium cups in the dishwasher, they should be washed on the top rack to avoid damage. It’s better to handwash custom stadium cups to preserve the printed design.
In addition to plastic stadium cups, we also offer plastic clear cups. One difference between the two types of cups is the level of transparency. Stadium cups are manufactured with either white or frosted plastic while our clear cups are manufactured with clear transparent plastic. However, the largest difference between the two types of cups is that the stadium cups can be washed and reused while the clear plastic cups are disposable and cannot be reused.
Stadium cups are made with thicker plastic, which makes them more difficult to recycle. Some municipalities will accept them for recycling, but many do not. You’ll need to check with your local municipality to determine whether or not the cups can be recycled. You can encourage customers to reuse the cups instead of throwing them away to reduce waste.
Stadium cups are designed for cold drinks and should not be used for hot drinks. Hot drinks with high temperatures could ruin the cup, but could also release chemicals from the plastic into the drink. Pouring hot drinks into stadium cups is a health hazard and is not advised. We offer custom paper coffee cups and custom paper ripple cups, which are designed for hot drinks.
There are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind as you work to create your cup design. First and foremost, our printers use the CMYK and Pantone scales. You’ll want to design with one of those scales to ensure the colors you see on your screen are accurate to the colors that will be printed. The best file formats for printing are vector formats (.EPS & .AI). We can accept logos and designs in any format and our team can convert your file to a vector at no cost.
